The Elgar Society

This talk by Robert explores why Elgar's music continues to ignite the imagination of young musicians today, drawing on Robert's early experiences of falling in love with Elgar's sound world as a viola player with the National Youth Orchestra of Wales. Robert will reflect on the "spark" that makes Elgar timeless, and how a new generation of young Elgarians are carrying his voice forward with energy, curiosity and authenticity.
