Residency Announcement: World Orchestra Festival, Beijing

This summer, Robert will travel to Beijing to take up a residency at the World Orchestra Festival, an engagement that brings together several core aspects of his artistic practice, including conducting, leading masterclasses, delivering talks, and adjudicating.

As part of this residency, Robert is honoured to be conducting at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) Beijing, one of the world’s most architecturally and artistically significant cultural venues. He will also be working at the China Soong Ching Ling Youth Science and Culture Exchange Centre, contributing to its mission of fostering international cultural exchange and youth development through the arts.

His international work continues to affirm that music is a universal language. Engaging with new cultures, sharing musical ideas, and learning through collaboration remain some of the most rewarding elements of his career.
