Orchestra of Square Chapel

Square Chapel

Orchestra of Square Chapel, with its conductor Robert Guy, is the resident orchestra at Square Chapel. The orchestra has built up a reputation for innovative and varied programming. This concert features a very rare performance of Heinrich Hübler’s Concerto for 4 Horns, showcasing the skills of the orchestra’s horn section. Beethoven’s 4th Symphony is probably his least well-known, but it is without doubt a masterpiece, and Haydn’s Symphony No. 102 is regarded as one of his very best.

Haydn: Symphony No. 102

Hübler: Concerto for 4 horns (soloists: Bob Shaw, Deborah Allon, Judith Stones, Nick Barber)

Beethoven: Symphony No. 4
